A Cincy tradition

Unique to the area with origins traced to far away lands, Cincinnati style chili is a unique experience. As this Texan found out, it is a far cry from the chili con carne I grew up on. With flavors such as cinnamon and clove cooked in with the meat to make a thinner, less chunky concoction it is then served over spaghetti noodles and topped with copious amounts of cheese, onions, oyster crackers and beans.

You might find variations elsewhere, but hit up the originals if you are in Cincy.
