There is this little Salvadoran restaurant in LA that was within walking distance of where I used to live. Unfortunately, I did not discover this gem until I had been there a few years. Fortunately, some friends of mine chose it to get together one night and from then on, I was hooked.
Gloria’s has been around for years. Still small, still family owned and still packed almost any time you stop in. It had the honor of being chosen for Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives which was great in that it meant Gloria’s was shown to oodles of new people, but it made getting a table even more difficult at times.
I decided I wanted to shoot some of their food items and so ordered a ton of them and tossed ’em on the set. Added bonus was the pupusas made for a lovely lunch later.
